Driveway Seal
Maintenance Protection
An unprotected asphalt surface will soften, fade and crack over time due
to weather conditions and oil/gasoline penetrating the surface.
Because asphalt is extremely porous, it is most susceptible to the
freeze-thaw cycle and heaving if left unprotected.
Sealing the asphalt
with a flat
black of coal tar pitch will seal the small pores. When the
coating dries, it hardens forming protective impermeable seal to the
elements. The coating will keep the surface looking new and clean
and will resist environmental deterioration.
Why seal coat?
Ultraviolet
(UV) radiation from the sun breaks the bonds between the carbon atoms in the tar. This natural process can
cause your payment to deteriorate and crumble. An
asphalt seal coat will help prevent UV rays from
penetrating and weakening the asphalt pavement.

Seal
coating helps prevent the penetration of oil and gas resulting from
spills and leaks. These spills and leaks result in a softening of the
asphalt. Our sealer contains additives designed to resist the effects
of these substances on your investment.
Seal coating is a COST EFFECTIVE method of extending the
life of your pavement. It helps
protect and restore the dark black
color of the original asphalt.
